About dasaas

All da tools. All free. dasaas is a growing collection of free software for everyday work, starting with calculators for construction and DIY projects.

What makes it different

• Real tools, not just formulas. Results update as you type, accept measurements the way you write them (9' 4 1/2"), and come with drawings, 3D views and code checks.
• Nothing to install. Every tool runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
• No account. Open a tool and start using it.
• Easy to share. Each result has its own link that opens with your numbers filled in.

How the tools work

The calculations run in your browser on your own device. Construction tools check results against the 2021 International Residential Code and the National Electrical Code where they apply, and each page explains the formulas it uses. Results are estimates for planning: local codes and product instructions always take precedence.

What's next

More categories are on the way, including statistics, woodworking and 3D printing, craft patterns, PDF and image tools, and audio. The goal is simple: good software, zero dollars.
